Episode 1: A Midnight Dreary

The Usher family appears in caskets and, in a flashback in court, where it is revealed by Detective C. Auguste Dupin (Carl Lumbly) that there is an informant in their ranks. Their patriarch Roderick Usher (Bruce Greenwood) offers his children 50 million dollars to find out who amongst them is the trader. Roderick calls Dupin to his childhood home where he tells him the tales of his fallen family.

Episode 2: The Masque of the Red Death

The youngest of the bastards, Prospero Usher (Sauriyan Sapkota) has yet to prove himself to his father and decides to take his blackmail project into his own hands. Precipitation becomes Perry’s prime problem.

Episode 3: Murder in the Rue Morgue

Camille L'Espanaye (Kate Siegel) is obsessed with being the captain of her family’s public image and goes on the public relations warpath. Becoming too wrapped up in her own wrath she tries to uncover her sister’s secrets but finds a lab of pissed primates instead.

Episode 4: The Black Cat

Reeling from the death of his sister Camille, Napoleon 'Leo' Usher (Rahul Kohli) goes on a bender and murders his boyfriend's black cat. In an act of desperation, he adopts a doppelgänger only to find that this kitten is playing mind games.

Episode 5: The Tell-Tale Heart

Dr. Alessandra Ruiz (Paola Núñez) finds out that Victorine LaFourcade (T’Nia Miller) forged her signature on official documents for the medical trial, throwing the couple into a tailspin. As Vic tries to get her back on board she is haunted by their tumultuous final moments. Roderick visits Vic and discovers her in an unstable state. A mechanical metronome ticks telling the tale of Vic’s broken heart.

Episode 6: Gold Bug

The launch of the luxury Gold Bug subscription box is the only thing that can hold Fortnato together. Without any sleep, its star, Tamerline Usher (Samantha Sloyan), begins to lose moments of her life. At the disastrous press conference, Juno Usher (Ruth Codd) is on the heavy end of a mic drop, and Madeline (Mary McDonnell) rushes through the crowd to grab the haunting Verna (Carla Gugino). Tammy’s dreams shatter around her and piece by piece she breaks apart coming to her final rest.

Episode 7: The Pit and the Pendulum

Frederick Usher's (Henry Thomas) bender worsens as he is consumed by the presumed infidelity of his wife Morella (Crystal Balint). He continues to torture his recovering spouse, first with nightshade, and then with a pair of pliers. Lenore (Kyliegh Curran) defies her dad, freeing her mother from the hell she’s been trapped in. The pendulum swings on the clock of Frederick’s destiny and hacks away at his life one arc at a time.

Episode 8: The Raven

Young Roderick (Zach Gilford) and Madeline (Willa Fitzgerald) seal their fate brick by brick and the buried secret of how they became the heads of Fortunato is revealed. Present day Roderick tells the tale of the texts and Madeline struggles to see her way out of the basement. The Raven takes her final dues and we shall hear of the Ushers nevermore.
