'The Last of Us' Cinematographer Joins Marvel's 'Secret Invasion' Reshoots

Already hyped for Marvel's upcoming Secret Invasion series on DisneyPlus? Well, prepare to get even more excited because our fave cinematographer Eben Bolter has joined the MCU to film reshoots for the new Marvel series. Eben's recently worked as director of photography for HBO’s The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey - specifically episodes “Long, Long Time,” “Please Hold to My Hand,” and “Endure and Survive.” He was also the cinematographer for Adam Randall’s vampire thriller Night Teeth, starring Debby Ryan, Lucy Fry, and Sydney Sweeney.

In our interview, Eben talks about how he worked on the upcoming Marvel series after The Last of Us.

"I'm not officially credited yet. But yes, I did a thing called Secret Invasion with Samuel Jackson his Nick Fury series which was great. So officially I came in and did the additional photography which was four months of shooting and reshooting stuff. Which often happens in marvel stuff."

Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters we first saw in Captain Marvel. They are joined by Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman. The crossover event series showcases a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years. Secret Invasion has a release date of Spring 2023.
